Funeral arrangements have been released for a Roane County woman who died earlier this week of an alleged overdose. Now her husband and his friend have been charged with murder. Renee Nicole Honaker, 29, of Left Hand will be remembered in a memorial service 1 p.m. Friday in the John Taylor Funeral Home located in Spencer. She will be buried at the J. Herbert Smith, Sr. Family Cemetery. Her husband, Todd Honaker and 32-year-old Chad Renzelman of Washington state have both been charged with first degree murder and conspiracy, in relation to the delivery of a controlled substance. The husband of a Roane County woman who was found dead over the weekend has waived his rights to a preliminary hearing. Todd Honaker is charged with first-degree murder in death of his wife, Renee Honaker. Investigators believe she died of an apparent drug overdose. The other defendant in the case, Chad Renzelman, 32, of Washington State has waived extradition and will be brought to West Virginia to face charges within the next 10 days. Renzelman is a chemist at a nuclear power plant in Washington. Renzelman allegedly sent LSD or acid to the Honakers, according to court documents. It is believed that both of the Honakers used the drug. The three apparently knew each other from online interactions. We have an update on a murder investigation in Roane County. Eyewitness News has learned that 32-year-old Chad Renzelman was arrested at his parents home in Kennewick, Washington over the weekend. He is charged with being a fugitive from justice in Washington and is charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance out of Roane County. Renzelman and Todd Honaker were arrested in connection with a murder on Looney Fork Road in Roane County. Deputies say Honaker's wife, Renee, died from an apparent drug overdose. They say Honaker waited to call 911, and by the time they got on scene, it was too late. Renzleman is currently in jail in Washington and has waived extradition back to West Virginia. Todd Honaker was booked into the Central Regional Jail Saturday and charged with first degree murder and delivery of a controlled substance. He was arrested in Spencer. Deputies said Honaker’s wife, Renee, was found unresponsive from a drug overdose and died en route to CAMC. They said Honaker supplied the drugs to his wife. Investigators also said Todd waited to call 911 after his wife overdosed and, by the time he did, it was too late. We have more information on a murder arrest in Roane County. Police arrested Todd Honaker Saturday morning and charged him with first degree murder and delivery of a controlled substance in connection with the death of his wife Renee Honaker. Investigators said police responded to an overdose call where Honaker was located and found his wife dead. They believe Honaker supplied the drugs to her and didn't call for help when she overdosed.
