State Police have released the name of the man killed when a tree crushed his vehicle Friday morning in Logan County.
Carl Adkins, 29, a lawyer, was killed when a tree fell on his pickup truck as he drove down Route 10 in Logan County about 8:40 a.m. His Facebook page said he was a Logan native who lived in Huntington.
A trooper said he believed the victim was on his way to work in Logan from Wayne County.
The accident closed Route 10 for about an hour.
One person has died after a tree fell on a car Friday morning.
The accident happened about 8:30 a.m. along Route 10 between Logan and West Logan, near the Gino's Pizza, a Logan County dispatcher said.
