Southern Ohio Drug Task Force members arrested two people after they said they found dozens of pills in a home in Scioto County, Ohio.
Robert D. Lawson, 33, and Patricia J. Dixon, 30, both of Wheelersburg were charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. The task force searched a home Tuesday in the 700 block of Center Street and seized almost 150 prescription pills, a handgun and more than $5,000 in cash, according to a news release from Scioto County Sheriff Department. Detectives estimate the street value of the pills is more than 3,000.
The arrests were part of a monthlong investigation by the task force detectives. Both suspects are being held at the Scioto County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
