A convicted felony who authorities said was caught in Huntington with several guns, including an assault rifle, has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
According to a two-count indictment, Thomas Ray III, 43, was caught with a Glock .40-caliber pistol near Huntington on Feb. 5. Court documents also said he had a loaded 12-guage shotgun, a .22-caliber rifle and an AR-15 assault rifle.
Ray was convicted of two felonies in Will County, Ill., for forcible armed detention and giving a false bomb/gas alarm.
