Power was restored late Monday night to Charleston's East End after a blown transformer near Power Park left hundreds in the dark.
The incident affected more than 700 customers about 9:45 p.m. Power was restored about 11:30 p.m.
Power outages are being reported across Charleston's East End after a transformer blows up near Power Park.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
According to Appalachian Power, more than 700 customers were in the dark around 9:45 p.m.
Crews are working on the transformer right now. They say power should be restored by 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.
