A fatality was reported early Monday morning in a single-vehicle accident near Parkersburg.
The wreck occurred about 4 am. at Old St. Mary's Pike and Oak Drive, an emergency dispatcher with Wood County 911 said.
The dispatcher said the car crashed and burned. No information was available about the identity of the driver.
