A man wanted in South Carolina was arrested Tuesday by police in West Virginia.
Jeremy McVey. 19, of Lexington, S.C., was arrested by St. Albans police Tuesday afternoon.
Police arrested McVey after a computer check showed that he was wanted for failing to appear on a possession of methamphetamine charge, Capt. James Agee of the St. Albans Police Department said.
The new Special Enforcement Unit of the St. Albans Police Department and patrol officers with the detachment made the arrest. McVey was arrested at a home on Roosevelt Avenue in St. Albans and arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
