One person was killed in an accident in Boyd County, Ky.
The accident happened about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday along U.S. 23 in the Burnaugh area. The accident involved two white Chevy Cavaliers. Sheriff's deputies say 54-year-old Carrie Kirk was killed in the accident, and the driver of the other car was not seriously injured.
Deputies say Kirk pulled out onto U.S. 23 in front of the other car and was struck on the driver's side of the car.
