A stolen dog from Putnam County is back home with his family, but deputies still are seeking the woman accused of stealing him.
"Puddles" was returned to his owner, Vicki Arthur, on Tuesday.
Deputies said Cassandra Arthur took the dog and then sold it at the IHOP in Kanawha City.
An Elkview woman saw a picture of the dog on TV and called deputies, saying she believed her granddaughter had purchased the dog.
Arthur said she is happy her dog is back and just wants justice.
One woman was arrested, and deputies are seeking another after what Putnam County deputies are calling a dognapping.
Deputies said Laci Slater was charged with larceny, and they are looking for Cassandra Arthur, 28. They said Arthur and her sister, Slater, went to Arthur's ex-mother in law's house in Liberty and took Vicki Arthur's Yorkie, named "Puddles."
It all happened Jan. 23. The next day, deputies said Arthur was caught on camera trying to sell the dog at the Go-Mart in Kanawha City and then at the IHOP. Deputies believe at that IHOP, she either sold the dog or gave it away.
