A man is facing several charges after deputies said he was involved in a violent home invasion in Cabell County.
Shane A. Stuart, 22, of Culloden is charged with burglary, driving under the influence and battery. On Sunday, deputies responded to a home in Culloden where the homeowners said they were burglarized, according to a criminal complaint filed in the Cabell Magistrate Court.
The complaint said the suspect burst through the door, shoved a female victim to the floor and punched a male victim several times in the face. Deputies said they caught up with the suspect after his car was spotted speeding on U.S. Route 60. Deputies said they believe the suspect was under the influence of alcohol.
