A Danese man has avoided prison for his role in the torching of vehicles at a police barracks.
The Register-Herald reported that a judge gave 23-year-old Nicholas Michael White a suspended sentence and sent him to the Anthony Correctional Center for youthful offenders.
If White meets the court's conditions and completes the center's program, he won't face further incarceration.
He pleaded guilty earlier to four third-degree arson counts.
White had testified against his great-uncle, 48-year-old David White of Meadow Bridge, and several other co-defendants. A jury convicted David White last week.
Nicholas White was sentenced Friday in Greenbrier County Circuit Court.
The 2011 fires at the West Virginia State Police barracks in Rainelle destroyed two State Police vehicles and several others that had been seized.
