Three men are behind bars accused of making meth around three young children.
West Virginia State Police say they found a meth lab on Hope Lane, in the Dry Branch area, near Campbells Creek Saturday night.
Dewey Wickline, Forest Goldsburg and James Tidwell are all charged with attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab and child neglect creating the risk of injury.
Troopers say they got a tip that the men were making meth. When they arrived at the home, Wickline gave them permission to search the property. That's when they allegedly found several shake and bake style labs in the garage and evidence that meth was being used inside the home.
Troopers took Wickline and Goldsburg into custody, but Tidwell ran into the woods. He was later arrested when allegedly he came back to the home and tried to hide under the bed.
Tidwell is also charged with fleeing.
The three young children, a five year old and two four year olds, are now in protective custody.
