The Blennerhassett Island Museum of Regional History in Parkersburg has installed a new exhibit collecting bathroom artifacts dating back to the 18th century.
The exhibit, "Behind Closed Doors - American Bathrooms Through the Ages,” opened Feb. 1 and will be on display until Dec. 31, according to a news release from the museum.
Dr. Ray Swick, West Virginia State Park historian, will present two lectures on April 20 and July 20, while the exhibit is on display. Both lectures are scheduled for 1 p.m. in the museum conference room.
