A local family is challenging the region to help the CAMC Foundation reach its Power of Many campaign goal to help build a new cancer center.
The Family of John L. Dickinson has pledged $750,000 to the fundraising campaign and will match each gift and pledge made by April 1, according to a news release from the CAMC Foundation.
The foundation says this provides an opportunity for donors to make their dollars count twice toward the cancer center.
The Dickinson family is based in Charleston and has previously contributed $500,000 to the campaign.
For more information or to make a donation, call the foundation at (304) 388-9860 or go to http://camcfoundation.org/.
