One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Pike County, Kentucky.
Mona G. Freeman, 76, of Fedscreek was killed Tuesday. Kentucky State Police responded to an accident on Warrior Path Road at about 8 p.m. in the Mouthcard community, according to a news release from State Police.
Troopers believe the car she was riding in struck a security gate while leaving the East Ridge High School parking lot. Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Deputy Coroner Denver Bailey.
Kentucky State Police are still investigating the accident.
