Firefighters from Milton, Culloden and Ona battled a blaze Monday that destroyed a home in Milton.
The fire started in the back of the house on Summers Avenue about 1 p.m.
There was one man home at the time, but he made it out safely. His two children were in school.
Firefighters said it was accidental in nature. The home is a total loss, and the Red Cross has been called in to help the family.
