Members of a Raleigh County congregation will need a new place to worship after a fire ripped through their church.
Forty-five firefighters from seven departments fought the fire at the Gospel Truth Lighthouse Church in Sophia. The fire broke out about 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Investigators believe a space heater caused the fire. It took crews nearly four hours to knock the fire out, and the conditions made it tough on the crews.
