A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near 312 Seventh Ave. in South Charleston Thursday evening, Metro 911 said.
One eastbound and one westbound lane of MacCorkle Avenue were shut down as crews responded to the accident.
The person was still down when medics arrived.
