High water, power outages and winds accompanied Wednesday's storm in Cabell County.
Overall damage in the region was minimal, but a tree came crashing down late in the morning on Sheppard Drive in Huntington.
A woman who lives in the home with two of her kids said the loud crash was terrifying. No one was hurt in the incident.
A neighbor said the winds can get vicious on the hilltop, but was still surprised how much damage was caused.
