A spokesman for Appalachian Power Co. said the power company hoped to have power restored to customers on Dixon and Donnally streets in Charleston restored by noon Monday.
The power outage was affecting St. Francis Hospital.
A power outage Monday morning was affecting customers on Dixon and Donnally streets in Charleston.
Appalachian Power Co. reported on its website that the outage was affecting 229 customers.
The area is located near the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center.
