Kentucky State Police are investigating a robbery in which the suspect assaulted an employee at a dance studio in Carter County.
The robbery happened about 10 p.m. Thursday at Center Stage Studio in Grayson, according to a news release from State Police. Troopers said an employee was closing up the business when the suspect attacked her. The suspect allegedly took cash from the victim and then fled with a second suspect, the release said. The victim had minor injuries to her face and head.
Troopers describe the suspect as a white male, between 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 10, weighing about 160 to 180 pounds and wearing a brown Carhartt coat with a dark-colored toboggan. There is no description of the second suspect.
