The Clarksburg VA Medical Center has created a display honoring the state's Medal of Honor recipients.
The new Medal of Honor Wall of Memory lists the names of all of West Virginia's deceased Medal of Honor recipients.
The idea for the wall came from the state's last surviving Medal of Honor recipient, Hershel Woodrow "Woody" Williams. Williams says he hopes the other three VA Medical Centers in West Virginia will add similar displays.
Media outlets report that hospital officials dedicated the wall on Tuesday. They also held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new wing.
