A Huntington man was sentenced to federal prison for distributing prescription pills.
Rayshawn Allah Wells, 22, was sentenced to two years in prison for aiding and abetting the possession with the intent to distribute oxycodone, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin. Wells pleaded guilty in September 2012.
In April 2010, Wells sold pills twice to a confidential informant in Logan County, the release said. The U.S. 119 Task Force searched Wells home in Logan and found 127 prescription pills and $1,040 in cash.
Wells admitted that he and Kawan Michael Wells brought the pills from Huntington to Logan County to distribute them, the release said. Kawan Wells, 24, was sentenced to five years probation in December 2012 in connection with the case.
