Nitro police said two men have been charged with four counts of forgery for using another person’s Player Club card at Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center to charge for alcoholic drinks.
Christopher Nelson Hoke of South Charleston and Jordan Edward Badalucco-Crist were charged following transactions that were made at the track Monday, according to criminal complaints filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
The complaint said a surveillance supervisor at the track provided Nitro Patrolman E.B. Whitney with video that showed the two suspects signing a card slip with the victim’s signature. A Player Club card is used for points or money toward drinks, games or food.
Police said they believe they know the identity of the person who owns the card, but they still need to confirm the identity.
