Hospitals around the state are changing their visitation policies to help stop the spread of the flu.
Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown and West Virginia University Children's Hospital are the latest to release new rules for visitors. Effective on Sunday, patients are now limited to two visitors at any given time and children under the age of 12 are discouraged from visiting. The hospital said the changes will help protect patients, staff and the community at large.
Anyone who has experienced flu-like symptoms in the previous 24 hours should not visit hospital patients.
