Firefighters are looking for the person who they believe deliberately started a fire on Charleston's West Side.
It happened in the 100 block of Lovell Drive around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
A neighbor told our photographer that she called firefighters after she heard a loud noise and saw flames outside.
Firefighters say it appears somebody set a parked utility trailer on fire next to a vacant house. The trailer was engulfed in flames, and those flames melted the siding off a the house.
One neighbor says the utility trailer had been parked on the hill beside of the road, and somebody had actually moved it next to the home before the fire started.
Another person who lives near the home says she saw two men, who appeared to be in their 20's, running from the scene.
This is just one of many suspicious fires on Charleston's West Side in the past few months. Anyone with information on the fire should call the Charleston Fire Department's Fire Prevention Bureau at (304) 348-8057.
