A boil water advisory was issued for about 100 West Virginia American Water customers in the Pinch area of Kanawha County Friday afternoon.
The affected areas includes the Pinch/Quick Road from Reunion Road/Pinchton Trail to Indian Lake Drive, Cottonwood Drive, Anderson Drive, Acorn Lane, Chansum Place and Greystone Estates, according to a news release from West Virginia American Water.
The advisory was issued after a water main break on Cottonwood Drive. Crews are working to repair the main, however, customers in the affected areas are urged to boil their water until further notice.
