Lonnie Galloway is rejoining West Virginia's football team as receivers coach.
The Mountaineers announced the hiring Thursday.
Galloway spent the past two seasons at Wake Forest. Before that, he coached the WVU receivers from 2008-10.
Galloway fills a spot on the offensive staff that opened when quarterbacks coach Jake Spavital left for Texas A&M.
During his earlier stint, two of Galloway's top recruits at West Virginia were defensive end Bruce Irvin and wide receiver Tavon Austin.
Irvin was a first-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks last spring. Austin set several records for rushing, receiving and all-purpose yards in his recently finished WVU career.
