CELEBRATING FATHERHOOD Group Hosting Event With Activities To Celebrate Fatherhood

Fatherhood will be celebrated at an event in Charleston with events for kids and dads.
Fathers, grandfathers, uncles or other father figures are encouraged to attend this one day outing from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 2 at Southridge Grand Prix, 500 South Ridge Blvd. in Charleston, according to a news release from organizers of the event.
The Kanawha Institute for Social Research and Action is the sponsor of the event as part of the West Virginia Pathways to Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.
Activities will include a daddy development workshop, laser tag, tag team putt-putt (weather permitting) and "strollers and rollers" skating. Pizza and doughnuts will be available.
Each father participating will receive a certificate.
