If you would like to recommend a name for Charleston's new elementary school in Edgewood, here is your chance.
The Kanawha County Board of Education is accepting recommendations from the public for the school's new name.
The public can submit its recommendation for the name on a link found on the main page of the Kanawha County Schools website at kcs.kana.k12.wv.us until Feb. 15. Parents also can give their name recommendations at a community meeting scheduled 6 p.m. Jan. 28 at Stonewall Jackson Middle School.
The names will be submitted to the Board of Education on March 4.
