The Scioto County Sheriff's Department has released a description of a suspect in the robbery of the U.S. Bank in Minford, Ohio, on Wednesday.
Sheriff's officials said a white man with a small frame wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, a dark-colored sweatshirt and a ski mask on his face robbed the bank about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. The man demanded money and fled with an unknown amount of cash in a bank teller's vehicle, officials said. The vehicle is described as a white Ford F-150 with "Ford" across the windshield and a pink breast cancer sticker on the back window. It was last seen driving south on East Street in Minford.
Sheriff Marty Donini said that the investigation could be linked to other crimes in the area. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the sheriff's department at 740-351-1093 or the FBI at 740-354-5645.
The Scioto County Sheriff's Department is investigating a bank robbery that happened Wednesday morning.
The U.S. Bank in Minford on Route 139 was robbed at 11:15 a.m., officials said. A description of the suspects was unavailable
Sheriff's officials also said that an hour before the bank robbery that a bomb threat was called in to the Wheelersburg High School. Officials have not found a threat to the school and do not know if it is related to the bank robbery but find it suspicious.
