Investigators have discovered meth-making materials near a home that caught fire under suspicious circumstances.
The state fire marshal and the Cabell County Sheriff's Drug Task Force is investigating a fire to an abandoned home in Culloden on Benedict Road that happened about 1 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators said they found meth-making materials near the burned-out home.
The state fire marshal is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone that has information that could lead to an arrest. The arson hotline number is 800-233-FIRE.
The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fire in Cabell County.
The fire was reported about 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Benedict Road in Culloden, investigators said.
Investigators are trying to determine if the house was abandoned. No one was inside at the time of the fire.
