West Virginia State Police are continuing to search for a murder suspect in Logan County. Police have issued a murder arrest warrant for John Edward Dempsy, 37, of Man. Dempsy is accused of killing 88-year-old Grover Morrison of Logan. Morrison was reported missing by his family. Then, on Tuesday, they found the elderly man dead inside his home on Stratton Street. Police are not releasing how Morrison was killed or a possible motive. Those who knew Morrison say he was friendly but kept to himself. Bob Weisner says Morrison was well-known throughout the town, saying he often walked through Logan and was a long-time bank executive at the old National Bank of Logan. "Just a very, very pleasant individual to talk to and when word got around last night as to what happened here it was just a shock to everyone," Weisner says.
