A two-month drug trafficking investigation into suspected trafficking of heroin and crack cocaine has resulted in the arrest of a Portsmouth, Ohio man, authorities said.
Manuel Lofton, 33, of 1305 Mound St. was arrested Friday on a 14-count indictment warrant that was served by members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, according to a news release from Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware and Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini.
The Portsmouth Municipal Court Probation Department assisted detectives in locating and arresting Lofton.
