A former West Virginia correctional officer was arrested after troopers said he allegedly had sex with a female inmate while he worked there.
Jerrel Jones, 19, of Parkersburg was charged with six counts of imposition of sexual acts on a person incarcerated or under supervision.
The alleged sexual acts happened at the North Central Regional Jail, State Police Sgt. Michael Baylous said.
Jones was arraigned in Doddridge County Magistrate Court. He was lodged in Central Regional Jail.
