University of Kentucky police have found a child they say was reported missing in California more than two months ago.
WKYT-TV reported university police received a call Thursday night about a suspicious person on campus.
They found a woman with 17-month-old Alouette Day-Moreno-Baltierra. The woman claimed to be the child's grandmother.
Police said the girl had been missing from Los Angeles since Oct. 15.
They do not know why the girl was brought to Kentucky, but she is safe now.
