Residents in Huntington who wish to dispose of their Christmas trees can visit four drop-off locations in the city, according to a news release from Huntington Mayor Kim Wolfe.
Those locations are Harris Riverfront Park (east end of the 11th Street parking lot), St. Cloud Commons, Altizer Park and Ritter Park (old Olympic pool site in the West End).
The city's street division and sanitation department will periodically pick up the trees. The trees are usually taken to East Lynn lake in Wayne County for fish habitat.
