The son of Kenova native and Major League Baseball player was killed, along with four others, in a two-car accident on Christmas Eve.
Brent Robinson, 30, Julie Robinson, 29, both of Bradenton, Fla., Gary Caldwell, 61, Patricia Caldwell, 58, both of Putney, Ky., and David Vanderpool, 31, of Williamsburg, Ky. were killed on Monday. The accident happened at 5:30 p.m. near the Flat Lick community. Police said Vanderpool was traveling on U.S. 25E when he lost control of his vehicle and struck another car head-on, The Associated Press reported.
Brent Robinson was the son of Don Robinson, who is a former Major League Baseball pitcher and is from Kenova, Bay News 9 in Bradenton, Fla., reported.
