A tree branch went through the windshield of a vehicle Wednesday morning on the West Virginia Turnpike and injured the driver, an emergency dispatcher said.
The incident happened about 9 a.m. on the Turnpike near Mossy, Fayette County.
Three people were in the SUV. The driver suffered minor cuts.
The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike. The state's 511 website said there was a lane closure as emergency crews worked to clear the accident. The accident happened at the 64.5 mile marker.
