Residents of a former coal camp in Logan County no longer have to worry about being evicted.
The properties' new owner, DB Land LLC, is giving residents of Rita the option to buy their lots. The company acquired the rental properties from Snap Creek Properties.
More than 30 residents had received eviction notices from DB Land in September.
Jim Lewis with DB Land told The Logan Banner that a company representative will meet with residents Monday evening to give them sizing and pricing for their lots. They will have until the end of January to decide whether they will buy the lots.
Any lots that aren't bought will be offered to others who need home sites.
