The Boyd County Sheriff's Department is investigating a home invasion in which a masked gunman burst in and robbed a victim.
The robbery happened on State Rt. 5 in Princess, Ky., at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the sheriff's department. Deputies say a man wearing a black ski mask and carrying a handgun forced his way through the front door and demanded the victim's purse and medication. Deputies said he then fled with the victim's belongings. The victim, who was home alone at the time, was not injured.
