Every year at this time, malls and shopping centers are packed with people buying those last minute gifts. This holiday season is no different.
Bethany Fleshman makes it a point to wait to the last minute to get her Christmas shopping done. "I always wait until the last minute. I don't know what it is, but I've done it all my life. It works and I get it all done in about two days and I don't have to worry about it anymore."
That's the holiday routine for a lot of folks, but waiting last minute doesn't work well for everyone. Lindsey Burdette said, "It's awful, you shouldn't wait until the last minute because you don't find what you want. There are no deals and it's crowded. Plus, there's no parking and everyone is rushing."
Most malls in our region stay open until midnight Sunday night and 6:00 PM on Christmas Eve.
