A Scioto County man was arrested after sheriff's deputies said he was allegedly caught burglarizing a West Portsmouth home.
Billy Mosley, 23, was charged with burglary, theft, possession of criminal tools and receiving stolen property in connection with a burglary that occurred Thursday at a residence in the 500 block of West Gate Road, deputies said.
Deputies received a 911 call about a possible burglary in progress. The caller then saw the suspect come out of the house and was able to hold him at gunpoint until deputies arrived.
Deputies said said they found property that he allegedly tried to steal from the home inside of his vehicle.
Mosley was being held in the Scioto County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
