A Kentucky man has been arrested on charges of sex abuse of a child.
Clyde A. Diamond, 47, of Burnaugh was arrested on Thursday, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.
On Nov. 27, State Police said they received a call from a 17-year old female who said she was sexually abused at a home on Linda Circle in Boyd County. The victim alleged the abuse happened between 1998 and 2007 and that the suspect was babysitting her at the time, police said.
State Police said that during the investigation Dec. 20, the suspect allegedly told police he had sexual contact with the girl.
Diamond was charged with four counts of sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years of age. Diamond is being held at the Boyd County Detention Center.
