A Charleston teenager who has been battling an illness at an Ohio hospital is receiving support today from a restaurant in Charleston.
The Pita Pit in Kanawha City is donating 100 percent of its profits Thursday to Makayla Clark. The 17-year-old is being treated at a hospital in Cincinnati.
The Clark family has not only had to deal with her medical struggles, but it also just suffered a personal loss. Makayla's father died recently after collapsing at the hospital where she is being treated.
