Kentucky State Police have arrested two people in connection with a robbery of a gas station in Pike County.
Larry Thacker, 31, and Patricia Rose, 48, both of Kimper were charged with robbery and unlawful taking. They are accused of being involved in the robbery at the Phelps Double Kwik about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Kentucky State Police.
Police said a man entered the convenience store and demanded money and cigarettes. Police said the man got into a silver Dodge that was being driven by a woman and fled the scene. The clerk was able to give police details of the vehicle, and troopers saw a car matching the description speeding down Ky 194 East. Troopers were able to pull the car over and found money from the store inside.
Thacker and Rose are being held at the Pike County Detention Center.
