Police have arrested two eastern Kentucky high school students and charged them with making threats.
Police told WYMT-TV both teens attended Prestonsburg High School, but the threats they allegedly made are not directly related.
Prestonsburg Police Chief Mike Ormerod said the first student was arrested Sunday night and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening after police said the student threatened to shoot students and teachers at the school. Ormerod said police are still investigating, but it appears the student planned to carry out the threat this week.
The other student is accused of making threats about specific people. That student was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening.
Both students are juveniles and their names weren't released.
