A former Capital High School teacher featured on a cable channel movie monster contest is using his creative skills for a Christmas production.
Robert "RJ" Haddy was featured in "Face Off" on the Sci Fi Channel during its second season. Haddy was one of the last contestants on the show and won "fan favorite." The show included several monster creations that could be used in movie productions.
Haddy is a makeup artist and created a mask for the Scrooge character in the Jax Theatre presentation of "A Christmas Carol." The final dress rehearsal was held on Thursday in Wheelersburg, Ohio. The show dates are 7 p.m. Dec. 14, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 15 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 22 at the TG Entertainment Live music venue.
