Huntington police are investigating a home invasion in which the victim was allegedly tied up.
On Sunday, police responded to an apartment complex in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue. The victim said a man broke into the apartment, tied her up and covered her head, police said. The suspect allegedly got away with jewelry and money.
A neighbor of the victim said she ran to his house for help after the crime. "She looked like she just got beat up. I realized her hands were tied behind her back. I had to use wire cutters. It was scary. You don't want that in your neighborhood," Jerry Singleton of Huntington said.
Police are still looking for a suspect. Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.
