A day after a huge gas explosion in Sissonville, caution was being taken in cases where residents detect the odor of natural gas.
Sissonville Volunteer firefighters responded to a complaint of a natural gas odor in the area Tuesday.
The complaint was reported about 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sissonville Drive and Grapevine Road.
Firefighters said that people in the area are on high alert after Tuesday's explosion and that those odors are common.
